United Arab Emirates, 1 November 2024: Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, marked UAE Flag Day with ceremonies at its Al Taweelah and Jebel Ali locations.

The ceremonies saw EGA’s executive leadership and employees gather to reaffirm their allegiance to the symbol of the UAE’s unity and strength.

Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Global Aluminium, said: “On this day, we stand together with our brothers and sisters across the Emirates to reaffirm our allegiance to the UAE’s flag. We are proud to stand with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as we celebrate the achievements of our great nation and visionary leadership. We renew our commitment to UAE’s principles and values, inspired by our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.”

UAE Flag Day marks the anniversary of His Highness the late Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE in 2004.
