United Arab Emirates: Staff working at Emirates Global Aluminium’s (EGA), power stations marked the Year of Tolerance by planting 398 trees from different species including the Ghaf tree, the UAE’s national tree and official symbol of the Year of Tolerance.

Since 2015, EGA has planted some 2,315 trees, this is equivalent to the removal of 50 tonnes of CO2 per year, helping to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
