EGA reaffirms allegiance to UAE’s flag on Flag Day
United Arab Emirates, 01 November 2018: Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, celebrated UAE Flag Day across its sites at Al Taweelah and Jebel Ali.
Answering His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai’s invitation, EGA raised the UAE Flag at 11:00am on November 1st to reaffirm allegiance to the symbol of the country's unity and greatness.
Abdulla Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EGA, said: “On this day, we celebrate the achievements of our country, our leadership and our people. We also commemorate the sacrifices made to build this nation. Today, we are proud to reaffirm our allegiance to the UAE’s flag and to renew our commitment to cement our country’s place as a global leader in many fields, including the aluminium industry.”
