EGA pays tribute to the UAE and its people on Flag Day
United Arab Emirates, 3 November 2020: Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, today observed the traditional flag-raising ceremony in honour of UAE Flag Day at Jebel Ali site today.
Responding to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, EGA raised the UAE Flag at 11:00am on November 3rd as tribute to the country's greatness and unity.
Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, CEO of EGA said: “UAE Flag Day has always been a significant occasion, during which EGA reaffirms our allegiance to the UAE’s flag. This year, we especially celebrate the country and its brave people who have proven their resilience and fortitude in the face of the difficult circumstances presented by COVID-19. We are proud to be supporting our country, our leadership and our people during this time and are keen to renew our commitment to the UAE.”
UAE Flag Day falls on November 3rd, on the anniversary of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of office as the leader of the country.
