EGA hosts higher education students from Masdar Institute

United Arab Emirates, 01 November 2017: Emirates Global Aluminium hosted twenty-six PhD and Master’s students from Masdar Institute. The students visited EGA’s headquarters in Al Taweelah, where they were given a safety induction and educated on EGA’s operations and processes during an in-depth tour.

The visit included a stop at the carbon plant, the casthouse, and the power plant, where students asked technical questions and were addressed by senior members of EGA teams.

Emirates Global Aluminium is the largest industrial company in the UAE outside oil and gas, and has numerous collaborations with international and local academic institutions.
