EGA employees hit the track at Dubai Sports World

United Arab Emirates, 08 July 2017: Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the UAE outside oil and gas, hosted employees at a corporate day at Dubai Sports World.

More than 200 employees and their families participated in 14 different sports. EGA is sponsoring Dubai Sports World, which turns the Dubai World Trade Centre into an indoor sports centre every summer.

“Our top priority at work is the health and safety of our employees and part of that is staying fit” said Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Corporate and Government Relations Manager, at the event. “Dubai Sports World gives our employees, and everyone else in Dubai, the opportunity to participate in sports during the summer months.”

This is the first year that EGA has sponsored the three-month, indoor sporting event. EGA maintains numerous sports facilities at its sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for its employees.
