United Arab Emirates, 02 December 2015: As part of its 44th UAE National Day celebrations, Emirates Global Aluminium (“EGA”) hosted a Community National Day at Al Rahba Park in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday 1 December. Open to the neighbouring community of EGA’s Al Taweelah site, the event was hosted in partnership with the Emirates Heritage Club and featured a traditional tent, falconry and a series of activities that reflected Emirati culture.

“We work closely with our surrounding communities throughout the year, with UAE National Day being a particularly important time for us to connect with these communities,” said Abdulla Kalban (MD & CEO: EGA). “Unity is at the heart of UAE National Day. In unity there is strength and we value the opportunity to come together each year at Community National Day to celebrate our shared sense of national pride.”

Dedicated to supporting the communities in which it operates, EGA Al Taweelah has hosted a Community National Day at Al Rahba Park every year since 2012.
