EGA celebrates 47th UAE National Day
United Arab Emirates, 02 December 2018: Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, celebrated the 47th National day of the UAE by hosting an event for its employees and their families.
Abdulla Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EGA, said: “UAE National Day, especially in this Year of Zayed is an opportunity to pay tribute to our forefathers who built this nation and to the remarkable progress we have made as a country.”
As part of the festivities, EGA employees and their families enjoyed traditional music, cooking stations, competitions, kids playing areas and henna artists at both Jebel Ali and Al Taweelah.
EGA will also host a National Day celebration event at Al Rahba Park on 2nd December for people living in communities near its Al Taweelah site.
